As another thrilling season of Pro Grand UK racing draws to a close, we continue to reflect on the people who make our club not only function, but flourish. One such person is Rob Cordell—our Club Chairman and dedicated competitor As a driver, he delivered an impressive performance throughout the season, securing 4th place in the Championship—a testament to his skill and consistency. Yet his contributions extend far beyond the driver’s seat. On race days, when others are focused solely on their own preparations, Rob helps out scrutineering cars, ensuring safety, fairness, and smooth running across the paddock. Together with his wife, Cindy, Rob stands as one of the founding members of the Pro Grand UK club.

Their dedication to supporting and promoting the series has been unwavering from day one. One of the most memorable highlights of the year was Rob and Cindy’s trip to the United States to support Pro Grand drivers competing in a round of the PGNRS. Their enthusiasm and loyalty were on full display, showing that the Pro Grand UK spirit extends far beyond our home tracks. And with plans to return to the US next year to spectate further PGNRS races, their commitment to the sport—and the people in it—continues to inspire. Thank you for everything you’ve done this year—both on and off the track. Here’s to many more seasons of teamwork, racing, and shared memories
